    Default Parador

Going for a free meal seems like a good deal to me. but going for a long walk after just having a lovely meal seems daft. Going to spend some time dreaming about it. Yes spending a little bit of time, with other pilgrims seems a great way of rounding off a good Camino. I always like working backwards. It's OK I've bought some new boots, spend'n 6 months breaking them in or is the other way around!

The only drawback about this meal: I am not doing this pilgrimage to get something I can put on the wall, but I have to hand over my compostella, which I wasn't intending to get.

The 'lovely meal' is welcome, but it's not what the parador serves to guests. It's staff meals and very nice too.
    Tip -

don't arrive with a rucsac - you won't get in
    Bring your passport
    Bring your compostelle
    Be on time
Entry is by the garage door
then by the hotel after acceptance.

If you have enough money, there's no need to eat here. But the staff are welcoming and practical. Yet I saw one guy selling tourist trash in the Praza Obreiro who also turned up as a 'pilgrim'. I think the staff knew.

Enjoy some good piping while you wait to get in to the Parador.
