Thanks for your great website. I plan to walk the Camino next summer.
Unfortunately, I can’t do it except in July. I thought it might be interesting, as well, to be in Pamplona during the running of the bulls. I understand that it is impossible to get a hotel room at this time, but do you know if this is the same for the pilgrim albergue since you have to have the passport to stay there? Thanks for the info!

It is not impossible to get a room in Pamplona if you book in advance.
We walked the camino in 2007, stayed at an alburgue, and proceeded to Astorga before returning to Pamplona for the running of the bulls. During this time the parks were totally filled with sleeping bags etc. My grandson and a friend met us in Pamplona (and plan to return) next year for the running of the bulls and have already booked a room a block from old town where the bull run is held.
