Spammers

My blog is under attack, well that is what it feels like. Every day about twenty spammers leave crap here. It is strange, everyone, including me, want many links coming into their site – however there is just something a bit off putting about the way this is done. Don’t get me wrong, I have made mistakes during the last year with this site – it has been a learning experience. But bloody hell every morning I come here and delete all their crap off the site. I have a feeling I need to upgrade the software, will do so as soon as I get the space to do so.

More importantly the sun is out this morning in Dublin. It is a beautiful spring day, the birds are singing, and the light seems to have a playful quality to it. I have spent some time this morning sorting my mails. This site is now one year old, just a baby. To think it was only this time last year I was in Prague, freezing, and learning how to put together HTML, it has been great. But back to the mails – there was a time that I answered every mail I got from people that were going to walk the Camino de Santiago, those days have changed I’m afraid. The site has done so well that I get an overwhelming amount of mail now – I am temped to put up a chat room, but however I get a bit concerned once again with spam – as I no long have the time to monitor it all. God, life is so good – I forget that part all the time.

Anyway one last thing – Jim, who’s diary is hosted here is setting off on a very long pilgrimage and you can read all about it here – Wandering the World.
